ABOUT THE ARTIST:
For thirty years, John Hogarth has worked with stained glass and created beautiful art. It has been only in the last few years that his stained glass work has become a business. Although John took lessons at the beginning of his hobby, he has learned much from self-training videos and articles on stained glass.“The most rewarding aspect of the stained glass work,” John says, “is working with students and seeing them progress.”
John’s stained glass can be viewed at Alabama Tombigbee Tourism in Thomasville, Alabama; LAAC in Andalusia, Alabama; Rudd Art Center in Ozark, Alabama; Port City Craftsman in Mobile, Alabama; and now The Museum Store at The Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama.
In the past few years John has extended his talents to jewelry making and combining old and new.
