ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Rene Culler has been a resident of Mobile since 2010.Culler’s work can be seen in the permanent collections of the Mobile Museum of Art, the Corning Museum of Glass, and the American Museum of Art, the Smithsonian in Washington DC; her work is on permanent display at the Luce Center. Internationally, her work is collected by MAVA: National Museum of Glass in Spain, the Glass Furnace in Istanbul, and Namseoul University in South Korea. Culler’s work in glass is included in numerous corporate collections throughout the United States, including Cleveland Clinic, Robert Woods Johnson Hospital, and Forest City Enterprises.
Culler has a great admiration of this national treasure. She hopes to evoke the natural and atmospheric beauty where the water, land and sky meet and foster many species and celebrate life itself.
